Job Description:
The Steam Boiler Technician in Qurain is tasked with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial steam boilers. Responsibilities include monitoring boiler performance, managing pressure systems, ensuring the safe functioning of burners and valves, and performing chemical water treatment. The technician conducts inspections and repairs of boilers, piping systems, and auxiliary equipment like feedwater pumps and blowers.
Safety is paramount, and the technician is expected to comply with all local regulations and perform risk assessments before starting maintenance tasks.
Job Requirement:
Technical training or certification in boiler operations.
At least 5 years of experience operating steam boilers in industrial settings.
In-depth understanding of steam systems, valves, gauges, and control panels.
Familiarity with water chemistry, scaling, and boiler treatment procedures.
Knowledge of boiler safety regulations and emergency shutdown procedures.
Physical ability to work in hot, high-pressure environments.
Ability to read pressure-temperature charts and schematics.
Experience with boiler instrumentation and control systems.
Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
