Job Description:
The 3D Visualization Artist is responsible for producing high-quality digital renderings and visual content to support architectural and engineering design projects in Doha, Qatar. This role involves transforming architectural concepts and technical drawings into realistic and compelling visual narratives that assist clients, consultants, and internal teams in understanding the design vision. The artist will work closely with architects, designers, and engineers to create photo-realistic stills, animations, and VR walkthroughs using industry-standard software and creative techniques.
Primary duties include modeling environments and structures, applying materials and textures, managing lighting and camera settings, and performing post-production enhancements. The position also requires interpreting architectural plans and applying design intent accurately in 3D formats. The artist plays a crucial part in competitions, presentations, and marketing campaigns, where visual clarity and aesthetic impact are paramount.
This role demands a strong understanding of architecture, spatial design, and digital artistry, along with the ability to manage rendering timelines and asset libraries. Experience with real-time rendering and augmented visualization is highly valued in this forward-facing design team.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design Visualization, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in 3D visualization or architectural rendering.
Skills:
Proficiency in 3ds Max, V-Ray, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Photoshop.
Strong knowledge of architectural drawing interpretation.
Advanced lighting, shading, and texturing capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Creative eye for design detail, composition, and storytelling.
Language: Professional communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Familiarity with BIM tools and CAD software is advantageous.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams.
Portfolio demonstrating diverse visualization work is required.
Understanding of Qatari architectural design standards is preferred.
