Job Description:
The Aggregate Operations Manager in Al Shahaniya oversees the extraction, processing, and distribution of aggregates such as sand, gravel, and crushed stone used in construction and infrastructure projects. This role entails managing daily mining operations, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating mining activities, supervising staff, optimizing equipment use, and implementing quality control measures. The manager liaises with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
The role requires monitoring operational budgets, managing workforce productivity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Emphasis is placed on sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact and maximize resource efficiency.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years in aggregate mining operations or quarry management.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
In-depth knowledge of aggregate extraction and processing techniques.
Familiarity with mining equipment and maintenance.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage budgets and production schedules.
Language: Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
