Job Description: Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled Drilling Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Drilling Engineer in the Energy & Utilities industry, your primary responsibility will be to plan, design, and oversee drilling operations for oil and gas exploration and production. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to the efficient and safe extraction of natural resources. Responsibilities: Plan and design drilling programs, including well trajectories, casing design, drilling fluids, and equipment selection, considering geological and reservoir characteristics. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations. Develop drilling procedures, technical specifications, and guidelines for drilling activities, adhering to industry standards and best practices. Monitor drilling operations and provide technical support to the drilling team, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety protocols. Analyze drilling data, including well logs, mud reports, and core samples, to evaluate drilling performance and make recommendations for optimization. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, geophysicists, and reservoir engineers, to optimize well designs and maximize production. Identify and troubleshoot drilling problems and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and mitigate risks. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and testing of drilling equipment and tools, ensuring their proper functionality and adherence to safety standards. Prepare drilling cost estimates and monitor drilling expenditures to ensure budget compliance. Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes in drilling engineering.

Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are preferred. Proven experience as a Drilling Engineer in the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of drilling operations. Familiarity with drilling software and simulation tools, such as well planning software, hydraulics modeling, and torque and drag analysis. Knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and materials, including different types of drilling rigs and drilling fluids. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize drilling performance and mitigate operational risks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental considerations, and industry standards related to drilling operations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in well design and data analysis. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
