Job Description:
The Control Panel Maintenance Technician in Al Rayyan is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical control panels used in energy generation and distribution systems. This role ensures that control panels operate reliably, supporting the uninterrupted supply of electricity across Qatar.
Key duties include diagnosing faults, replacing faulty components, calibrating control devices, and performing routine inspections to prevent failures. The technician works closely with electrical engineers and operations staff to troubleshoot and resolve control system issues. Maintenance activities include wiring checks, testing of relays and switches, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
The technician is also responsible for maintaining accurate maintenance logs and reports, contributing to preventive maintenance programs. Working in high voltage environments requires strict adherence to safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment.
Job Requirement:
Education: Diploma or certification in electrical engineering or industrial electronics.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining electrical control panels or related equipment.
Skills:
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical control panels.
Knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work safely in high voltage environments.
Language: Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
Ability to work under pressure and in physically demanding conditions.
Valid Qatar driving license preferred.
