Job Description:
The Assistant Cook in Al Daayen supports kitchen operations by assisting the head cook or chef in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for restaurants, hotels, or institutional food services. This position involves preparing ingredients, following recipes, and ensuring that food is cooked and presented according to the establishment’s quality standards.
Key responsibilities include chopping vegetables, marinating meats, monitoring cooking times and temperatures, and helping plate meals. The Assistant Cook also helps maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, ensures proper storage of ingredients, and supports inventory management. The role requires cooperation with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, the Assistant Cook contributes directly to customer satisfaction through efficient and high-quality food preparation. This role is essential for ensuring consistent culinary output and operational smoothness in Al Daayen’s food service industry.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma; vocational training in culinary arts is a plus.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
