Job Description:
The Batch Mixer in Doha is responsible for accurately preparing and blending raw ingredients for food and beverage production processes. Working in a factory or industrial kitchen setting, the batch mixer ensures precise formulation of recipes, consistency in product quality, and adherence to health and safety regulations. This role is essential in large-scale production of sauces, beverages, dairy products, or baked goods.
Key tasks include weighing and measuring raw materials, loading ingredients into mixers or blending equipment, monitoring mixing times and temperatures, and adjusting settings as needed for different product batches. The mixer must follow batch sheets and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to achieve uniformity and meet production targets. Additionally, the worker is responsible for cleaning and maintaining mixing equipment between batches to prevent cross-contamination.
Coordination with quality control and production teams is critical for reporting deviations, recording batch data, and ensuring production flow. Accuracy, attention to detail, and familiarity with food safety practices are central to the role.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or vocational training in food production or related fields.
Experience: 1–2 years in a food manufacturing or batching environment preferred.
Skills:
Understanding of food mixing, blending, and batching procedures.
Ability to read and follow batch production instructions.
Competence in using industrial mixers and related machinery.
Knowledge of food hygiene and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Strong numerical skills for precise measurements.
Language: Basic English for reading batch records and safety instructions.
