Job Description:
The Banquet Coordinator in Mesaieed is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing banquet events within food and beverage or hospitality venues. This role involves coordinating with clients, kitchen staff, and service teams to ensure seamless event delivery that meets customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include managing event logistics such as setup, staffing, menu planning, and audio-visual requirements. The coordinator oversees guest arrivals, seating arrangements, and ensures smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams during events. Attention to detail and the ability to handle last-minute changes are critical.
The Banquet Coordinator also manages budgets, monitors inventory for event supplies, and conducts post-event evaluations to improve future functions. This position is crucial in delivering high-quality banquet experiences that enhance the venue’s reputation in Mesaieed’s competitive food and beverage market.
Job Requirement:
Education: Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years coordinating banquet or large-scale food and beverage events.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes.
Knowledge of event planning software and hospitality standards.
Budget management and vendor coordination experience.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is beneficial.
