Job Description:

The Beverage Expert in Al Rayyan is responsible for overseeing beverage operations in restaurants, cafes, hotels, or food service establishments. This role includes developing beverage menus, managing inventory, ensuring quality control, and providing training to staff on beverage preparation and service standards.

Key responsibilities involve curating drink selections that align with customer preferences and seasonal trends, supervising beverage preparation, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The Beverage Expert collaborates closely with culinary teams and front-of-house staff to enhance guest satisfaction through excellent beverage experiences.

This position requires strong knowledge of various beverages including cocktails, wines, non-alcoholic drinks, and specialty brews. The role is critical in promoting the establishment’s beverage offerings and maintaining high service standards in Al Rayyan’s competitive food and beverage market.

Job Requirement:

Education: Degree or certification in hospitality, food and beverage management, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in beverage management or expert-level beverage service roles.

Skills:

Extensive knowledge of beverage types, preparation, and presentation.

Strong leadership and team training skills.

Excellent organizational and inventory management abilities.

Good communication skills for guest interaction and staff guidance.

Proficiency in quality control and compliance standards.

Language: Fluent in English; Arabic skills are an asset.

Other Requirements:

Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service.
