Job Description:
The Business Law Attorney in Al Wakrah will provide expert legal advice and services on a broad spectrum of commercial and corporate matters. This role involves advising businesses on their legal rights, obligations, and risks in day-to-day operations, transactions, and strategic decisions. Core duties include drafting and reviewing business agreements, advising on regulatory compliance, resolving commercial disputes, and assisting with corporate structuring, joint ventures, and shareholder matters.
The attorney will represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and, when necessary, court proceedings. The role requires a sound understanding of Qatari business regulations and international commercial law. Additionally, the attorney may support clients during business formation, acquisitions, franchise deals, or dissolution processes.
This position is ideal for a proactive legal professional with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of commercial environments, aiming to contribute to business growth and legal security in Qatar.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB); LLM in Commercial or Corporate Law preferred. Must be licensed to practice law in Qatar or an equivalent recognized jurisdiction.
Experience: 4–6 years of experience in business or corporate law practice.
Skills:
Deep knowledge of Qatari commercial and civil laws.
Experience with contract law, commercial litigation, and arbitration.
Strong legal drafting and advisory capabilities.
Ability to negotiate and resolve disputes effectively.
Language: Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are preferred.
