Job Description:
The Consumer Rights Attorney in Mesaieed advocates for the protection and enforcement of consumer protection laws in Qatar. This role involves advising consumers, businesses, and regulatory authorities on legal issues related to product safety, unfair trade practices, advertising standards, and contractual disputes.
Key responsibilities include representing clients in consumer litigation, reviewing compliance with Qatar’s consumer protection regulations, drafting legal opinions, and supporting enforcement actions against fraudulent or deceptive business practices. The attorney collaborates with government agencies, consumer rights organizations, and corporate clients to promote fair trade, transparency, and ethical business conduct.
This position is essential in safeguarding consumer interests, resolving disputes efficiently, and maintaining trust in Qatar’s marketplace.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law; specialization or certification in Consumer Protection Law is preferred. Must be licensed to practice law in Qatar or an equivalent jurisdiction.
Experience: 4–7 years of experience in consumer rights law, regulatory compliance, or commercial litigation.
Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of Qatar’s consumer protection laws and regulations.
Strong litigation, negotiation, and dispute resolution abilities.
Proficient in advising on product liability, advertising laws, and contract issues.
Excellent communication and client advisory skills.
Language: Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
