Job Description:
The Dozer Operator in Umm Salal is responsible for operating bulldozers to clear, level, and grade land for construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects. The operator moves earth, rocks, and debris, preparing sites for subsequent construction activities.
Key duties include inspecting the bulldozer before use, controlling blade movements to push or spread materials, and coordinating with site supervisors to meet project specifications and timelines. The operator is also responsible for maintaining the equipment, reporting faults, and adhering to safety guidelines.
This role requires technical proficiency, physical endurance, and a strong focus on workplace safety. The Dozer Operator plays an essential role in the efficient progress of construction and development projects in Umm Salal.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in heavy equipment operation preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 years operating bulldozers or similar earthmoving machinery.
Skills:
Expertise in dozer operation and site preparation.
Ability to read site plans and follow supervisor instructions.
Knowledge of maintenance and safety protocols.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in hot climates.
Language: Basic English proficiency; Arabic is a plus.
