Job Description:

The Food Safety Inspector in Al Khor plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with local and international food safety standards within food production and processing facilities. The inspector conducts regular audits and inspections of food handling, processing, and storage areas to identify potential hazards and enforce hygiene protocols.

Responsibilities include sampling food products, reviewing sanitation practices, investigating complaints, and documenting findings. The inspector works closely with production teams to implement corrective actions and promote safe food handling practices to minimize contamination risks.

Job Requirement:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in food science, microbiology, or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in food safety inspection or quality assurance in food processing.

Skills:

Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and local food safety regulations.

Ability to conduct detailed inspections and prepare reports.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and training abilities.

Language: Proficient in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
