Job Description:
As a Livestock Nutrition Mixer, you will play a critical role in supporting the health and productivity of livestock through precise formulation and mixing of animal feed. Your primary responsibility is to prepare nutritionally balanced rations based on the dietary needs of cattle, sheep, goats, and poultry, under guidance from veterinarians or nutritionists. This includes weighing ingredients, operating feed mixing equipment, monitoring feed storage, and ensuring hygiene protocols are met.
You will collaborate with farm managers and veterinarians to adjust feed compositions based on seasonal needs, animal health conditions, and production goals. Proper documentation of feed batches, inventory tracking, and reporting are part of your daily responsibilities. Adherence to animal welfare and food safety standards is essential.
