Job Description:
The Solar Energy Installation Specialist in Dukhan is responsible for the setup, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems, including photovoltaic panels and associated hardware, supporting Qatar’s renewable energy projects. This role ensures that solar installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include site assessment, mounting solar panels, wiring electrical systems, configuring inverters, and integrating solar arrays into existing power grids. The specialist must follow technical specifications and safety regulations, working closely with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines.
Troubleshooting system faults, performing repairs, and routine maintenance are vital to maximizing system performance and longevity. The specialist also documents installation processes and provides training or guidance to clients or site personnel on system operation and safety.
Job Requirement:
Education: Diploma or certification in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related technical disciplines.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in solar energy installation and maintenance.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical wiring.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficient in using installation and diagnostic tools.
Commitment to safety standards and use of PPE.
Language: Good command of English; Arabic proficiency is an asset.

Physically fit to work outdoors and at heights.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various project sites.
Valid Qatar driving license preferred.
