Job Description:
We are hiring a Coating Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Madrid. In this role, you will apply specialized coatings to industrial parts, tools, and assemblies to enhance durability, corrosion resistance, and aesthetic appeal.
You will be responsible for the preparation and application of various coating materials such as powder coats, thermal sprays, and anti-corrosive finishes. Duties include cleaning and prepping surfaces, operating spray booths and ovens, and performing post-coating inspections for adhesion, thickness, and quality.
You will also monitor coating equipment, maintain application logs, and ensure environmental and safety compliance in the coating area. This is a technical role requiring hands-on knowledge of industrial coating procedures and the ability to follow exact instructions for each application process.
This position suits individuals who enjoy working with machines, have strong attention to detail, and are capable of producing consistent, high-quality surface finishes. Your work will directly impact the performance and longevity of industrial components used in demanding environments.
If you are dependable, process-driven, and capable of working in high-temperature environments, we encourage you to apply. Training and development opportunities are available for those looking to grow in the industrial finishing field.
Job Requirement:
Applicants must have a technical diploma or relevant certification in Surface Treatment, Materials Technology, or Mechanical Engineering. At least 1 to 2 years of experience in industrial coating or finishing processes is necessary.
You must have a good understanding of surface prep techniques, spray technologies (air and electrostatic), and familiarity with coating materials such as zinc-rich primers, epoxies, and powder coatings. Experience using inspection tools such as dry film thickness gauges and adhesion testers is required.
Candidates should be capable of reading technical documents, following precise process sheets, and maintaining accurate coating logs. Familiarity with ISO quality standards, clean room protocols, and personal protective equipment is essential.
Physical endurance is necessary as the role involves repetitive tasks, standing for long hours, and working in elevated temperatures. Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, and technical English reading ability is an asset.
Applicants must be safety-conscious, able to identify defects, and comfortable working independently or in small teams. Organizational skills and attention to detail will be key in maintaining coating quality and uniformity.
Previous experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing environments is preferred. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends, is expected.93000
