Job Description:
We are seeking a Concrete Delivery Operator to deliver and dispense ready-mix concrete throughout Valencia. Your role will include operating a specialized delivery vehicle, managing load quantities, ensuring slump consistency, and communicating effectively with site supervisors during deliveries.
This position involves operating the mixer while in transit to keep concrete fresh, controlling discharge at various sites, and completing routine cleaning and minor maintenance of the truck. The ideal candidate will ensure all safety procedures are followed during transport and unloading, including traffic compliance and spill prevention.
You’ll act as a key link between the batching plant and the construction site, ensuring each load is delivered on schedule, within spec, and to the right location. The role is highly physical, often outdoors, and requires adaptability to changing schedules and work sites.
Job Requirement:
A valid commercial driving license for heavy vehicles is mandatory, along with at least 1 year of experience in concrete or material transport. Candidates should understand basic concrete composition, site protocols, and proper delivery documentation.
Attention to driving safety, the ability to read maps or GPS routing, and effective problem-solving on the road are essential. You must be able to conduct basic vehicle checks and communicate issues to maintenance teams promptly.
Punctuality, reliability, and a clean driving record are crucial. Basic Spanish literacy is required for site logs and job tickets.
