Job Description:
We are hiring a Foundry Operator to work in our heavy metals production facility in Seville. In this role, you will be responsible for managing furnaces, pouring molten metal, and overseeing the casting process from mold preparation to final cooling.
Your tasks will include preparing charge materials, monitoring furnace temperatures, operating overhead cranes, and ensuring the proper handling of molten metal. You will also be involved in mold inspection, ladle management, and slag removal.
This role demands a safety-first mindset, strong physical endurance, and experience working in hot, industrial environments. It is a core position in our production line with a significant impact on product quality.
Job Requirement:
Applicants must have at least two years of experience in a foundry or smelting environment. A technical diploma in metallurgy, industrial production, or mechanical operations is preferred.
You should be knowledgeable about various casting techniques, furnace operations, and heat treatment processes. Experience with refractory materials and ladle cleaning is a plus.
Candidates must be physically fit, able to wear protective equipment, and follow strict safety guidelines. Ability to read technical specifications and communicate effectively with the production team is essential.
