Job Description:
The Academic Learning Planner in Ajman is responsible for designing and mapping learning pathways that align academic offerings with student needs and institutional outcomes. The planner develops structured academic schedules, progression plans, and interdisciplinary modules to support student success and retention. Working closely with faculty, registrars, and academic advisors, the role involves coordinating semester-wise course offerings, ensuring prerequisite coherence, and avoiding scheduling conflicts. The Academic Learning Planner evaluates student data to identify academic trends, improve curricular flow, and support timely graduation. This role also contributes to the development of learning resource guides, academic calendars, and program handbooks. Using data analytics tools and student information systems, the planner assesses course demand, forecasts enrollment, and collaborates with departments to optimize instructional resources. The position requires a detail-oriented mindset, exceptional planning abilities, and a collaborative approach. Additionally, the planner supports institutional accreditation efforts by aligning academic structures with regulatory standards and ensuring consistency in learning outcomes documentation.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in education, instructional planning, or academic administration is preferred. Experience in higher education scheduling, curriculum design, or learning analytics is essential. Candidates must have strong skills in data interpretation, academic policy understanding, and the use of ERP or scheduling software. Excellent organizational and communication abilities are required, as is the ability to work across departments in a deadline-driven environment.
