Job Description:
The Academic Program Manager leads the design, implementation, and quality assurance of nonprofit educational initiatives, including community education programs, vocational training, and academic partnerships. This role is responsible for ensuring that educational programs are relevant, inclusive, and aligned with both community needs and academic standards. The manager oversees curriculum development, learning outcomes evaluation, and instructor supervision, working closely with educational consultants, government authorities, and institutional partners.
The Academic Program Manager also manages donor reporting for education grants, oversees program budgets, and ensures compliance with accreditation requirements when applicable. In addition, the role involves developing partnerships with schools, universities, and training institutes to enhance access to learning for marginalized populations, including youth, women, and displaced individuals.
Ideal candidates must be passionate about education equity and possess the leadership and strategic planning skills needed to develop sustainable and scalable learning solutions. This position plays a critical role in shaping the educational footprint of the nonprofit and contributes to broader sectoral influence and advocacy efforts.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must have a master’s degree in education, curriculum design, or educational leadership, with at least 7 years of experience managing academic or community learning programs. Experience in nonprofit education initiatives, vocational training, or higher education partnerships is highly preferred. The role requires excellent planning, team leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills. Familiarity with UAE educational regulations and global education frameworks is essential. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an asset. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate success in proposal writing, data-driven decision-making, and managing cross-functional teams.
