Job Description:

The Communications Content Creator is a vital member of the nonprofit's communications and outreach team, responsible for crafting compelling, mission-driven content that elevates the organization’s voice, builds awareness, and supports fundraising and advocacy goals. This role creates written, visual, and multimedia content across multiple platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, donor reports, campaign materials, and public engagement documents.

The individual works closely with program teams, senior leadership, and external partners to gather stories from the field, translate program data into digestible formats, and ensure brand consistency. They manage content calendars, write and edit content tailored for various audiences, and ensure that all communications are inclusive, impactful, and aligned with the organization’s values. The Content Creator also collaborates with graphic designers, videographers, and external agencies as needed to deliver high-quality communications assets.

This position requires creativity, adaptability, and a deep understanding of nonprofit messaging, audience segmentation, and digital storytelling. The role contributes significantly to donor retention, community engagement, and reputation-building in both local and international contexts.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, media studies, or a related field, with at least 3–5 years of experience in content creation, social media, or nonprofit communications. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities are essential, along with proficiency in content management systems, social media tools, and Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. A demonstrated understanding of audience targeting and cause-based communication strategies is critical. Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage. The ideal candidate should have a passion for social impact, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
