Job Description:
The Business Operations Lead is responsible for optimizing the day-to-day operational functions that enable a nonprofit organization to run efficiently and effectively. Based in Dubai, this strategic role oversees administrative systems, procurement, facilities, logistics, IT coordination, and internal compliance. The lead ensures operational processes are well-documented, scalable, and aligned with the organization's mission and strategic objectives. Working across departments, they identify process gaps, streamline workflows, support risk mitigation, and enhance overall efficiency. Key duties include vendor management, contract administration, SOP development, resource allocation planning, and supporting emergency preparedness. The Business Operations Lead also plays a key role in organizational audits, technology integration, and liaising with external service providers. In a city like Dubai, where nonprofits must maintain high standards of operational transparency and compliance, this role is essential for bridging mission-driven work with strong backend execution.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, operations management, or nonprofit leadership is preferred. Candidates should have 6–8 years of experience in operations or administration, preferably in mission-driven organizations. Strong skills in systems thinking, procurement management, logistics, and operational policy design are essential. Familiarity with ERP or operations software tools, UAE compliance regulations, and bilingual fluency in English (Arabic an advantage) are desirable.
