Job Description:
The Capacity Development Officer is responsible for enhancing the skills, systems, and institutional strength of the organization and its partners through tailored capacity-building initiatives. Based in Al Ain, the officer assesses training needs, develops capacity-building strategies, and delivers workshops, coaching sessions, and technical assistance across various program areas. They collaborate with local partners, community organizations, and government bodies to strengthen implementation capabilities, promote sustainability, and increase local ownership. The officer also monitors the outcomes of capacity development efforts and adjusts strategies based on feedback and performance metrics. Key responsibilities include curriculum design, stakeholder training, competency mapping, and coordination with regional and global networks for resource sharing. In Al Ain, this role is essential for supporting community-led development and building resilient, empowered partner organizations.
Job Requirement:
A postgraduate degree in organizational development, international development, or capacity building is preferred. Candidates should have 5–7 years of experience in adult learning, institutional strengthening, or technical assistance delivery. Excellent facilitation, curriculum development, and partnership-building skills are required. Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is highly desirable.
