Job Description:
The Community Outreach Officer is responsible for engaging local communities to promote nonprofit initiatives, increase program participation, and raise awareness about available services. Working from Dubai, this role involves planning and executing outreach campaigns, organizing community events, and building long-term relationships with residents, civic leaders, and grassroots organizations. The officer represents the organization at community meetings, hosts information sessions, and distributes outreach materials tailored to different segments of the population. This role also includes conducting needs assessments, collecting community feedback, and reporting on outreach effectiveness. By acting as a bridge between the organization and the public, the officer ensures that programs are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with community needs. The position requires adaptability, strong listening skills, and a deep understanding of Dubai’s diverse socio-cultural landscape.
Job Requirement:
A degree in sociology, communications, or community development is preferred. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in public outreach or community engagement. Strong presentation and event facilitation skills, fluency in Arabic and English, and the ability to work with multicultural audiences are essential. Experience working with NGOs or local authorities in the UAE is an added benefit.
