Job Description:

The Communications and Media Lead is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of strategic communications and media initiatives that amplify the mission and impact of the nonprofit organization. Based in Dubai, this role manages internal and external messaging across multiple platforms including press releases, newsletters, digital channels, and media campaigns. The Lead coordinates with program teams to produce compelling content, ensures consistent brand messaging, and builds relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets. Key responsibilities include managing crisis communications, organizing press conferences, preparing talking points for leadership, and overseeing video or print campaigns. The Communications and Media Lead also supports fundraising and advocacy by crafting stories that highlight program outcomes and community impact. In Dubai's dynamic and multicultural landscape, this role requires the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and comply with UAE’s media and content regulations.

Job Requirement:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, journalism, or media studies is preferred. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in nonprofit communications, media relations, or public affairs. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, as well as media strategy experience, are essential. Familiarity with local media laws, proficiency in digital publishing tools, and fluency in English (Arabic preferred) are highly desirable.
