Job Description:

The Apparel Packaging Operator in Ajman is responsible for executing the standardized packaging of finished garments in a high-output textile manufacturing or export environment. The role focuses on organizing, preparing, and securely packing garments for delivery while ensuring compliance with client specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality requirements.

This position involves handling large batches of garments post-quality inspection and pressing. The operator begins by confirming the garment style, quantity, and size distribution per order. Using packing lists, customer-specific packaging instructions, and carton labeling templates, the operator folds garments neatly—either manually or with the aid of semi-automatic folding machines—and inserts each piece into the appropriate packaging (e.g., polybag, box, hanger bag).

Garments may be grouped by size, color, or SKU, requiring strong attention to packaging accuracy. The operator affixes size stickers, tags, or hangers as needed. Labels, barcode tags, and carton identification are printed and applied precisely to ensure clear tracking. The packed cartons are then sealed, weighed, and placed on pallets or designated zones for shipment.

In addition to packing duties, the operator checks for damaged garments or packaging materials and reports any inconsistencies. They may also assist with basic inventory tracking, carton audits, and maintaining cleanliness in the packing station.

The role involves repetitive tasks, attention to consistency, and the ability to meet output targets while maintaining high quality and presentation standards. Team collaboration is essential to manage workflow and ensure timely delivery.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have completed high school or vocational training and possess 1–2 years of experience in a packaging or warehouse setting, preferably in the apparel industry. Familiarity with packaging tools, labeling systems, and garment handling is crucial. Candidates should be physically fit, detail-oriented, able to follow packing specifications accurately, and capable of working efficiently in a production environment.
