Job Description:
The Clothing Label Application Worker is responsible for accurately attaching brand, size, care, and price labels onto garments before they are dispatched for retail distribution or storage. The role involves operating heat press machines, sewing machines, or adhesive systems to ensure correct and durable label placement on various fabric types. The worker must examine each garment to verify label location, match it with order specifications, and ensure compliance with quality control guidelines. This position is integral to the apparel production process and supports efficient identification, sorting, and sale-readiness of garments. Tasks include maintaining labeling equipment, replenishing label stock, and documenting completed batches. Coordination with quality control and packing departments is necessary to streamline workflow. Workers must observe safety and ergonomic standards, especially while working with heated or automated machinery. The role may also involve manual handling and standing for extended periods. Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the workstation is also essential to ensure productivity.
