The Button Machine Technician in Dubai is responsible for operating and maintaining button attaching machinery used in garment production. This specialist ensures that buttons are securely and accurately attached to garments such as shirts, jackets, trousers, and uniforms, meeting quality and production standards.
The technician sets up and calibrates button machines based on garment type, button size, and attachment style. This involves adjusting machine parameters such as needle position, stitching tension, and button placement to ensure consistent, precise results. During operation, the technician monitors machine performance and inspects garments for correct button attachment, promptly addressing any malfunctions or quality issues.
Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of button machines are key responsibilities. The technician cleans, lubricates, and replaces worn or damaged parts to keep machines operating efficiently. When technical problems arise, the technician diagnoses issues and performs repairs or coordinates with maintenance teams.
The role requires attention to detail to ensure buttons are attached without fabric damage and aligned according to garment specifications. The technician also ensures adherence to safety standards to prevent injuries during machine operation.
Collaboration with sewing operators, quality inspectors, and supervisors is essential to maintain production flow and resolve any attachment defects. The technician may also assist in training new operators on button machine use and maintenance.
