Job Description: An Energy Analyst in the Energy & Utilities industry is responsible for analyzing energy consumption patterns, evaluating energy efficiency measures, and providing recommendations to optimize energy usage and reduce costs. They collect and analyze energy data, monitor energy performance, and identify opportunities for energy conservation and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: Energy Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret energy consumption data from various sources such as meters, utility bills, and energy management systems. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to understand energy usage patterns and areas of improvement. Energy Performance Evaluation: Assess the energy efficiency of buildings, facilities, and equipment. Conduct energy audits and site inspections to evaluate energy consumption, identify energy-saving opportunities, and propose efficiency measures. Energy Conservation Measures: Recommend and implement energy-saving strategies and measures to reduce energy consumption and improve energy efficiency. This may include optimizing HVAC systems, lighting systems, insulation, and renewable energy integration. Energy Modeling and Simulation: Utilize energy modeling software and tools to simulate and analyze the impact of energy efficiency measures on energy consumption, costs, and environmental impact. Evaluate different scenarios and quantify potential energy savings. Energy Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular energy reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate energy performance, savings, and efficiency initiatives to stakeholders. Present findings and recommendations to management and clients. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with energy regulations, standards, and certifications relevant to the industry. Ensure compliance with energy efficiency codes and guidelines. Renewable Energy Integration: Assess the feasibility and potential benefits of integrating renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind power, into existing energy systems. Evaluate economic viability, technology options, and project implementation requirements. Energy Management Systems: Utilize energy management systems and software to monitor and track energy consumption, set energy targets, and measure performance against set goals. Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions. Cost Analysis and Budgeting: Analyze energy costs, budget allocations, and financial impacts of energy efficiency projects. Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop business cases for energy-saving initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to promote energy conservation and sustainability. Provide training and support to employees on energy-saving practices and behavior change initiatives.

Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or a related field. Proven experience in energy analysis, energy management, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of energy systems, energy efficiency principles, and renewable energy technologies. Proficiency in energy analysis software and tools. Familiarity with energy management systems and building automation systems. Understanding of energy regulations, codes, and standards. Analytical mindset and ability to interpret energy data. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication and presentation abilities. Project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Adaptability to changing project requirements and deadlines. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic (beneficial but not mandatory).
