Job Description:

The Academic Learning Planner in Al Rayyan is responsible for designing, coordinating, and evaluating structured learning plans that align with institutional goals and individual learner needs. Working within schools, colleges, or curriculum development units, the planner plays a pivotal role in optimizing academic delivery by mapping subject progression, instructional pacing, and learner outcomes.

Key responsibilities include analyzing curricular requirements, setting academic calendars, collaborating with educators to develop weekly and term-based lesson sequences, and ensuring learning plans accommodate differentiated instruction, inclusive education, and assessment strategies. The role also supports the integration of digital tools and project-based learning into academic plans.

The Academic Learning Planner works closely with department heads, instructional designers, and quality assurance teams to align learning pathways with accreditation standards, national education policies, and global best practices. Monitoring student performance data and providing feedback to enhance instructional planning are essential aspects of this role, contributing directly to student achievement and institutional excellence.

Job Requirement:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or Instructional Design; Master’s preferred.

Experience: 3–5 years in academic planning, curriculum coordination, or teaching.

Skills:

Proficiency in curriculum mapping and instructional planning tools.

Knowledge of local and international education standards.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to collaborate with faculty and academic leaders.

Understanding of differentiated and inclusive teaching strategies.

Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is an asset.

Other Requirements:

Familiarity with Qatar’s national curriculum or international frameworks (e.g., IB, British, American).

Ability to manage multiple planning cycles and deadlines.
