Job Description:
The Academic Research Specialist in Lusail plays a pivotal role in supporting institutional research, academic planning, and policy development across universities and educational institutions. This role involves conducting qualitative and quantitative research to inform evidence-based decisions on curriculum design, student performance, and faculty development initiatives.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing research studies, analyzing academic data, and producing reports that guide strategic planning and program improvement. The specialist works closely with faculty, academic leadership, and quality assurance teams to evaluate learning outcomes, support grant applications, and contribute to scholarly publications. They may also assist in institutional accreditation processes and benchmarking exercises.
By maintaining strong academic integrity and staying updated on global research trends, the Academic Research Specialist ensures Qatar’s educational institutions remain competitive and innovative. This role requires a strong understanding of higher education systems and the ability to translate research findings into actionable strategies.
Job Requirement:
Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Education, Educational Research, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in academic research or institutional effectiveness roles.
Skills:
Proficient in statistical analysis and data visualization tools (SPSS, NVivo, Tableau).
Strong academic writing and reporting abilities.
Familiarity with educational metrics and assessment methodologies.
Ability to synthesize complex information for diverse stakeholders.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Language: Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
