Job Description:
The Aerospace Project Coordinator in Madinat ash Shamal supports the planning, execution, and delivery of aerospace-related projects, including aircraft systems upgrades, airfield technology deployments, and research and development initiatives. This role works closely with engineering teams, regulatory agencies, and contractors to ensure projects meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities include preparing project schedules, tracking progress, coordinating technical documentation, facilitating stakeholder meetings, and ensuring alignment with aviation regulations. The coordinator also assists in budgeting, procurement, and quality control while managing risk registers and performance indicators. Projects may range from infrastructure enhancements and aerospace systems integration to innovation-driven programs in partnership with academic and governmental institutions.
This role is essential for maintaining project efficiency and aligning aerospace initiatives with Qatar’s national goals for technological advancement and aviation excellence.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Project Management, or a related technical field.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in aerospace or aviation project coordination.
Background in engineering or technical documentation preferred.
Skills:
Strong project planning, documentation, and time management abilities.
Familiarity with aerospace systems, materials, and compliance processes.
Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Understanding of ICAO, QCAA, and civil aviation project regulations.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
Willingness to travel within Qatar for site visits.
High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
PMP certification or progress toward it is advantageous.
