Job Description:

The Airfare Pricing Analyst in Al Shamal is responsible for developing and managing competitive and profitable fare structures across domestic and international routes. This role involves analyzing market trends, passenger demand, competitor pricing, and revenue performance to support optimal pricing strategies for the airline’s various fare classes and products.

Key responsibilities include setting and updating fares based on demand forecasts and yield targets, coordinating with the revenue management and sales teams, and ensuring compliance with IATA pricing regulations. The analyst uses pricing tools and reservation systems to monitor real-time pricing behavior and recommends tactical adjustments for promotional campaigns and seasonal travel.

The role contributes significantly to airline profitability by enhancing price positioning in line with customer segmentation, route profitability, and load factor optimization.

Job Requirement:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Aviation Management, Statistics, or Business; additional certifications in revenue management or airline pricing are advantageous.

Experience:

2–4 years in airline pricing, revenue management, or aviation analytics.

Familiarity with global distribution systems (GDS) and airline reservation systems.

Skills:

Strong numerical and analytical thinking.

Proficiency in pricing systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, or PROS.

Ability to evaluate fare structures and competitor pricing strategies.

Competence in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Effective communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Language: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
