Job Description:
The Air Traffic Strategy Analyst in Al Wakrah supports the strategic planning and optimization of airspace utilization and traffic flow to enhance operational efficiency and reduce delays across Qatar’s aviation network. This role plays a key part in evaluating air traffic trends, capacity constraints, and regulatory frameworks to propose improvements in coordination with aviation authorities and airport stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include analyzing flight path data, airspace congestion patterns, and runway usage efficiency. The analyst works closely with civil aviation authorities, air navigation service providers, and flight operations teams to support traffic flow management and long-term airspace development initiatives. Responsibilities also include simulating air traffic scenarios, forecasting capacity demand, and contributing to infrastructure planning and policy-making processes.
This position is essential for ensuring safe, efficient, and scalable air traffic strategies aligned with Qatar’s aviation growth objectives.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Air Traffic Management, Aviation Studies, or a related field.
Experience:
3–5 years in air traffic analysis, flight operations planning, or aviation strategy.
Familiarity with ICAO standards and airspace optimization techniques.
Skills:
Strong analytical and simulation modeling capabilities.
Proficiency in air traffic analysis tools (e.g., NEST, TAAM, RAMS Plus).
Understanding of route design, flow management, and airspace structure.
Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.
Attention to detail with strong organizational ability.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is beneficial.
