Job Description:
The Air Safety Compliance Manager in Dukhan is responsible for overseeing the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of aviation safety programs to ensure full compliance with international and national regulatory standards. This strategic role works across departments to assess operational risks, enforce safety regulations, and foster a culture of compliance throughout airside and flight operations.
Key duties include managing the Safety Management System (SMS), conducting compliance audits, reviewing safety procedures, and liaising with regulatory bodies such as QCAA, ICAO, and IATA. The manager leads investigations of incidents and near-misses, ensures corrective actions are applied, and provides training and safety briefings to staff. Additionally, this role involves preparing reports, maintaining documentation for regulatory audits, and advising senior leadership on emerging safety trends and compliance gaps.
This role is critical to upholding the integrity and safety of aviation operations in Dukhan and aligning safety practices with global aviation standards.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aviation Safety, Aeronautical Engineering, or Regulatory Compliance; certifications in IOSA, ICAO, or IATA safety programs preferred.
Experience:
6–8 years in aviation safety or regulatory compliance roles.
Proven experience managing SMS and audit programs.
Skills:
Deep knowledge of ICAO Annexes, QCAA regulations, and safety protocols.
Strong leadership, auditing, and risk management capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in safety reporting tools and compliance tracking systems.
Ability to lead cross-functional investigations and enforce policy adherence.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Must be available for emergency response and incident reviews.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Valid airside access clearance or ability to obtain one.
