Job Description:

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Al Khor is responsible for conducting routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft to ensure airworthiness and operational safety. This hands-on role involves working closely with engineering teams and airline operators to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) regulations.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, replacing faulty components, inspecting structural integrity, conducting pre- and post-flight checks, and ensuring accurate maintenance record-keeping. The technician also assists in A-checks, line maintenance, and the application of airworthiness directives, ensuring full compliance with aviation safety standards.

This position demands strong technical aptitude, precision, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining safety protocols. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring aircraft are service-ready, minimizing delays, and supporting the reliability of airline operations in Qatar.

Job Requirement:

Education: Diploma or degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Aeronautics; EASA Part-66 or equivalent certification preferred.

Experience:

3–5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably in commercial aviation.

Experience with narrow-body or wide-body aircraft is beneficial.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of aircraft mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.

Proficient in using diagnostic and repair tools.

High attention to safety, detail, and technical accuracy.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Language: Proficient in English; Arabic is an asset.

Other Requirements:

Must be eligible for airport security clearance.

Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.

Strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Physically capable of working in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
