Job Description:
The Budget and Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing budget planning, financial recordkeeping, and account management within a nonprofit organization based in Doha. This role ensures accurate financial data tracking, budget adherence, and timely financial reporting to support program effectiveness and organizational accountability.
Key responsibilities include preparing and monitoring budgets, managing accounts payable and receivable, coordinating with program managers on financial planning, reconciling financial transactions, and assisting with audits. The manager also implements financial controls, ensures compliance with donor and regulatory requirements, and contributes to financial forecasting. Close collaboration with finance and program teams is essential to align financial practices with strategic goals. This position demands strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and integrity.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in budgeting and account management, preferably in nonprofit or NGO environments.
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
Knowledge of nonprofit financial regulations and donor requirements.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Ability to prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
Language: Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
