Job Description:
The Business Operations Lead manages and oversees the day-to-day operational functions of a nonprofit organization in Doha, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery that supports programmatic and strategic goals. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, streamlines workflows, and implements operational policies to optimize organizational performance.
Key responsibilities include supervising administrative services, managing vendor relationships, overseeing procurement and facilities management, supporting budgeting and resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations. The Business Operations Lead also collaborates closely with senior management to develop operational strategies, monitor key performance indicators, and address operational challenges proactively. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to support a mission-driven organization effectively.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within nonprofit or NGO sectors.
Skills:
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Experience with vendor and contract management.
Knowledge of nonprofit operational standards and compliance.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to analyze processes and implement improvements.
Language: Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
