Job Description:
The Contract Administration Specialist in Al Gharrafa, Qatar, is responsible for managing and overseeing contractual agreements related to shipbuilding projects and marine machinery procurement. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and maintaining contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards within the maritime industry.
Key duties include coordinating with project managers, legal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure clarity and accuracy in contract terms, monitoring contract performance, and handling amendments or renewals as needed. The specialist also supports risk management by identifying contractual risks and ensuring appropriate mitigation measures. Effective documentation, reporting, and communication are vital to this role, which contributes to the smooth execution of shipbuilding operations and protects the company’s interests.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years in contract administration or legal support, preferably in shipbuilding, marine engineering, or related industries.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of contract law and administration.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to interpret complex contract terms and conditions.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency with contract management software and MS Office.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
