Job Description:
The Digital Modeling Artist in Dukhan, Qatar, specializes in creating high-quality, detailed digital models and visualizations to support shipbuilding and marine machinery design projects. This creative role combines technical knowledge with artistic skill to produce realistic 3D renderings, animations, and interactive models that aid in design reviews, client presentations, and marketing efforts. Working alongside naval architects, engineers, and CAD designers, the Digital Modeling Artist translates technical data and sketches into visually compelling digital content that illustrates ship structures, systems, and interiors.
Responsibilities include developing 3D renderings of ship components, creating animations to demonstrate functionality, and producing virtual walkthroughs of ship interiors and machinery layouts. The artist ensures that digital models meet accuracy standards and adhere to project specifications while enhancing visualization clarity. Collaboration with design teams to integrate digital models into broader project workflows is essential. This role supports Qatar’s shipbuilding sector by providing advanced visualization solutions that improve communication, design validation, and stakeholder engagement.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Digital Arts, Graphic Design, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in 3D modeling, digital visualization, or related roles, preferably in shipbuilding or industrial design.
Skills:
Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software such as 3ds Max, Blender, Maya, or similar.
Strong understanding of shipbuilding terminology and marine engineering concepts.
Ability to create realistic textures, lighting, and animations.
Excellent attention to detail and a strong artistic sense.
Good communication skills for collaborating with technical teams.
Language: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
