Job Description:

The Customer Service Engineer in Lusail, Qatar, serves as a vital link between shipbuilding manufacturers and clients, ensuring technical support and after-sales services for marine machinery and ship systems. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to shipboard equipment to maintain operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include responding to client inquiries, conducting on-site inspections and repairs, coordinating with engineering and production teams for solutions, and providing technical training to customers. The engineer also documents service activities, reports on recurring issues, and suggests product improvements based on client feedback. This role demands proactive problem-solving and excellent communication skills to foster strong client relationships and uphold Qatar’s standards in maritime service excellence.

Job Requirement:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years in customer support or service engineering within shipbuilding, marine machinery, or related industries.

Skills:

Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with shipboard machinery and marine systems.

Proficiency in service documentation and reporting.

Language: Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Other Requirements:

Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent technical issues.
