Job Description:

The Director of Talent Strategy in Mesaieed plays a key leadership role in shaping and executing the organization’s long-term talent vision. This role is responsible for developing comprehensive strategies to attract, develop, retain, and deploy top talent aligned with business growth and workforce transformation goals.

Key responsibilities include overseeing strategic workforce planning, leadership pipeline development, succession planning, and high-potential talent programs. The director collaborates with executive leadership and HR teams to ensure alignment between business needs and talent capabilities, while also promoting a culture of performance, innovation, and inclusion. The role also involves tracking key HR metrics, assessing talent risks, and influencing organizational design decisions to support scalability and agility.

In Mesaieed—a center of industrial development—this role is critical for building a future-ready workforce that meets sectoral demands across energy, logistics, and manufacturing.

Job Requirement:

Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration. Senior HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) are preferred.

Experience: 10–15 years in progressive HR leadership roles, with at least 5 years in strategic talent or organizational development.

Skills:

Strong understanding of talent strategy, workforce planning, and succession frameworks.

Ability to lead change and influence senior stakeholders.

Proficient in people analytics, leadership assessment tools, and HR tech platforms.

Strategic thinking with operational execution capability.

Expertise in organizational design and capability development.

Language: Fluency in English required; Arabic preferred.

Other Requirements:

Experience managing talent in large-scale or industrial organizations.

Strong cross-cultural leadership and advisory skills.

Familiarity with national workforce localization strategies and Qatari labor regulations.
