Job Description:

The Engineering Recruiter in Al Shamal is responsible for attracting and hiring skilled engineering professionals to support projects in sectors such as construction, energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing. This role manages the full recruitment cycle—from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding—to ensure the timely placement of qualified engineers.

Key responsibilities include developing talent pipelines for various engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.), engaging with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, and leveraging job boards, networking, and direct sourcing methods. The recruiter ensures candidate experience excellence and maintains recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness. Additionally, the role involves staying current with market trends and competitor activities to anticipate talent challenges.

In Al Shamal—an area with growing industrial and infrastructure developments—this role is essential to building a strong engineering workforce aligned with Qatar’s development plans.

Job Requirement:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Engineering, or related field. Recruitment or sourcing certifications are a plus.

Experience: 3–5 years in recruitment, specifically engineering or technical hiring.

Skills:

Good understanding of engineering roles and qualifications.

Proficient in sourcing techniques, ATS, and candidate assessment.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple requisitions and work under deadlines.

Familiarity with Qatar’s labor market and hiring regulations.

Language: Fluency in English required; Arabic is beneficial.

Other Requirements:

Experience in industrial or infrastructure recruitment preferred.

Attention to detail and high professionalism in candidate engagement.
