Job Description:
The Nursery Assistant in Al Wukair plays a supportive role in delivering safe, high-quality care and early education to children aged 0 to 4 within nursery settings. Working under the supervision of nursery teachers or room leaders, the assistant helps implement daily routines, supports structured learning activities, and ensures the physical and emotional well-being of all children in their care. Responsibilities include feeding, diapering or toileting, supervising naps, preparing materials for play and learning, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
The assistant fosters a warm and secure atmosphere that encourages young children to explore, socialize, and develop early communication and motor skills. They contribute to child progress observations, ensure health and safety compliance, and provide feedback to senior staff and parents as needed. In addition to classroom responsibilities, the Nursery Assistant helps with setting up learning zones, tidying up, and participating in special events or activities organized by the center.
Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma is essential; additional qualifications in childcare or early years development are highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early childhood care setting.
Skills:

Basic understanding of child development and nursery routines.
Strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities.
Ability to follow safety, hygiene, and confidentiality protocols.
