Job Description:

We are looking for an energetic and service-oriented Bar Assistant to join our busy hospitality team in Barcelona. As a Bar Assistant, you will support bartenders with drink preparation, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness behind the bar while ensuring guests receive friendly, prompt service.

Your responsibilities include restocking supplies, washing glassware, collecting empty glasses, slicing garnishes, refilling ice bins, and helping prepare simple beverages. You will also assist in setting up and closing down the bar area and support staff during busy hours.

This position is ideal for individuals looking to build experience in bar service and hospitality. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment that requires efficiency, teamwork, and a passion for customer care.

If you’re enthusiastic about nightlife or restaurant culture and eager to gain hands-on experience, this is a fantastic starting point.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience in a hospitality setting—preferably in a bar, café, or restaurant. Basic knowledge of drink types, bar equipment, and health regulations is helpful but not required.

You must be quick, reliable, and comfortable working late hours. Physical fitness is important, as the job involves standing for long shifts, lifting crates, and moving at a fast pace. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist guests politely.

Fluency in Spanish is required; English or Catalan knowledge is a plus. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Bar Assistants must be organized and clean, with a strong sense of responsibility for hygiene and safety. An eagerness to learn and contribute to the bar team’s performance is crucial.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone pursuing a career in hospitality or looking to grow into a
