Job Description:
We are hiring a responsible and experienced Bus Driver to join our transportation team in Granada. As a Bus Driver, you will operate large passenger buses along scheduled routes, ensuring safe and timely transport of passengers to their destinations.
You will be responsible for inspecting the vehicle before each trip, checking fuel, brakes, lights, and ensuring all safety equipment is functioning. Additional duties include assisting passengers as needed, collecting or validating fares (if required), and reporting any mechanical issues or incidents to management.
The position requires excellent driving skills, patience, and a strong focus on safety. You will interact with a variety of passengers and must maintain a courteous, professional demeanor at all times. Whether operating on city routes, intercity services, or event shuttles, your role is vital to maintaining a reliable transport service.
Punctuality, awareness of traffic rules, and route familiarity are key to success in this position.
Job Requirement:
A valid commercial driving license (Category D or equivalent) is mandatory for this role. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience operating large vehicles, ideally in public or private transportation services.
You must be physically fit, have good vision, and be comfortable working shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays. Strong knowledge of local traffic laws, city routes, and basic vehicle maintenance is essential.
Candidates should possess good communication skills in Spanish, with the ability to interact respectfully with passengers and provide basic route or stop information when asked.
A clean driving record and a strong sense of responsibility are required. You must be able to stay calm under pressure, respond to emergencies if they arise, and follow company safety protocols at all times.
A high school diploma is preferred but not required. You should be punctual, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
