Job Description:
The Assistant Director in Al Ain supports the Director in managing strategic and operational aspects of the organization, acting as a second-in-command to ensure efficient execution of business plans. This role involves coordinating departmental initiatives, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and supporting cross-functional teams to meet short- and long-term objectives. The Assistant Director plays a critical role in aligning daily operations with organizational goals, overseeing project progress, and contributing to policy development and process improvements. Responsibilities also include supervising mid-level managers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting in budgeting and resource allocation. The Assistant Director frequently represents the Director in meetings and stakeholder engagements, providing continuity in decision-making and leadership presence. Additionally, the role involves analyzing internal reports, preparing presentations, identifying performance gaps, and contributing to talent development and employee engagement programs. This position serves as a stepping stone to full directorship and requires the agility to manage multiple priorities across diverse business functions.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, public policy, or operations management is required; a master’s degree is advantageous. Candidates should have 8–10 years of experience in managerial roles, preferably with 3–5 years in an assistant or deputy-level leadership role. Strong planning, analytical, and team management skills are required. Familiarity with UAE regulatory and operational frameworks is an asset.
