Job Description:
The Equipment Assembly Fitter in Al Farwaniyah plays a crucial role in assembling new mining machinery and structural components in accordance with technical blueprints and manufacturer guidelines. The position entails building and testing machines such as drilling rigs, loaders, dump trucks, and screening plants.
Responsibilities include checking part dimensions, verifying compatibility of components, bolting or welding joints, installing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and ensuring that assembled equipment meets operational and safety standards. The fitter also participates in pre-delivery inspections and functional tests before equipment is released for field use.
The role requires mechanical precision, familiarity with large-scale industrial components, and the ability to use lifting and alignment tools. Equipment Assembly Fitters often collaborate with engineers, electricians, and hydraulic specialists to complete complex builds and resolve assembly issues efficiently.
Job Requirement:
Certification in mechanical fitting, fabrication, or industrial assembly.
Minimum 3 years of experience in assembling heavy machinery or industrial equipment.
Skilled in reading assembly diagrams, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and schematics.
Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools, torque tools, and alignment instruments.
